Midshipmen Battalion Recreation Committee to Host Military and First Responders 5K

On Saturday,November 7th, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University’s Midshipmen BattalionRecreation Committee will host the Military and First Responders 5k. The eventaims to honor military personnel and first responders as well as join thesurrounding community together for a morning of fitness and camaraderie.

The MidshipmenBattalion Recreation Committee invites participants from both the Embry-Riddlecommunity and the general public to take part in the 5K and show their support.Check-in begins at 7 a.m. and is located at the Legacy Walk in front of theStudent Union. The race will last from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., with participantsfollowing a route that winds through a portion of Embry-Riddle's campus.

In addition topromoting physical activity and community involvement, the 5K will raise fundsfor the Midshipmen Battalion Recreation Committee and ultimately help supportthe student-led organization.

Registrationcosts $25 with website fees per participant. This includes a complimentaryevent T-shirt.

The Military andFirst Responders 5K offers an opportunity to honor the service and sacrificesof military personnel and first responders through a morning dedicated tofitness, service and community.
