Kaden McVerry is a junior at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Uncrewed Aircraft Systems with a minor in Geographic Information Systems. He is an FAA-certified Part 107 Remote Pilot with more than four years of experience and over 250 UAS flight hours. Kaden is passionate about aerial photography, photogrammetry, media production, and using UAS technology to collect actionable data.

Kaden has been a member of The Avion since arriving at Embry-Riddle and currently serves as Editor-in-Chief. Through this role, he leads the publication’s editorial direction, staff, operations, services, and financial strategy. He also serves on the Student Government Association Executive Board. After graduation, Kaden hopes to pursue a career involving UAS operations, geospatial intelligence, or counter-UAS technology. He plans to carry his passion for aviation, technology, media, and leadership into his future academic and professional endeavors.
